WHAT MAKES A GREAT IDEA GREAT? (half day)

We all seek to make great creative work, but what does that really mean? What makes a great project superior to one that is just … good?

In this session we take a deep dive into the workings of brilliant creativity from across the globe to explore the qualities of Simplicity, Originality, Truth, Craft and Reward. And we draw inspiration from the creative processes of luminaries like Picasso, Orson Welles & Marina Abramovic. Also - in the interests of balance - we examine some jaw-droppingly terrible work and explore how it could be made better.

Among the exercises is an enlightening discussion where attendees share a piece of creative that they think is great.
